Food & Beverage Manager
Goldies Cafe is looking for an organized, hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role by taking on additional responsibilities as the business expands.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys leading a team while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage food and beverage ordering to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Oversee inventory, conduct regular counts, and minimize waste.
- Receive and organize deliveries.
- Train, coach, and support front and back of house staff.
- Provide managerial support during shifts, including supervising staff and assisting with daily operations.
- Ensure health, safety, and food handling standards are consistently met.
- Help develop and maintain efficient operating procedures.
- Assist ownership with operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality management.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Food safety certification and Smart Serve required
Availability
Applicants must be available to work Sundays and Mondays. Other working days can be negotiatited if candidate is successful in the interview process.
