Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction and Renovation Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of construction, renovation, and restoration projects with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently to complete construction tasks.
- Install cabinetry, flooring, tiles, and perform carpentry tasks with attention to detail.
- Conduct plumbing, electrical work, masonry, welding, and construction painting as required by project scope.
- Measure surfaces for accurate tile laying or flooring installation; apply caulking for sealing purposes.
- Assist in construction estimating by providing accurate assessments of materials and labor needs.
- Maintain safety standards on-site by following protocols for heavy equipment operation and general site safety.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to quality standards.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Extensive experience in concrete forming, finishing, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, and tile laying.
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques and flooring installation methods.
- Ability to perform restoration work with precision; experience in cabinetry installation is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction safety protocols and site management practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and understanding technical instructions.
