Kem-A-Trix Inc. is a specialty chemical and lubricant additive manufacturer serving clients across a range of industries. We are a small but growing team focused on quality, safety, and precision in every batch we produce. As we continue to expand, we’re looking to add a "Production Assistant I" to our production facility.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in the production of finished products following written & verbal blending instructions
· Fill drums, pails, and other containers with raw materials as needed
· Prepare outbound shipments, including palletizing and labeling
· Communicate with the Operations team to ensure production priorities are met
· Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment during tasks
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- Good stamina and ability to lift up to 25 kg regularly
- Valid Forklift License (Or Ability to procure one within 30 days of start)
- Steel-Toe Work Boots
- Comfortable working on your feet on the production floor for most of the shift
- Willingness and ability to wear gloves, goggles, and face masks for extended periods when required
- A good command of the English language (Written & Oral)
- Basic computer skills (e.g., spreadsheets, email, file browsing)
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
· Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is an asset, but not required.
