Job Summary
Premier Fencing is seeking a dedicated Fencing Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of fencing systems on various projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Prior construction experience and familiarity with a range of tools and techniques will be highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in fencing installation and broader construction trades.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the layout and measurement of fencing projects according to blueprints and schematics
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during fencing installation
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, setting posts, and performing concrete forming as needed
- Install fencing materials including wood, vinyl, chain link, or ornamental fences
- Perform tasks related to concrete finishing, masonry, or carpentry as required for fence posts or supports
- Read and interpret schematics and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, masonry, carpentry, or related trades preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
