Job Description
The Calgary office of ICE is currently seeking applications for a Personnel and Training Coordinator. This position will take responsibility for the recruiting, screening, selection, and ongoing monitoring of employees and corresponding administrative duties for the Calgary office. The position will also be part of the Provincial Training Team, taking responsibility for providing training to staff and completing training administrative needs. This position is directly responsible for
- Recruitment, screening, and selection of employees
- Ensuring staffing is appropriate to meet the needs of clients and liaising with Managers regarding recruitment requirements on a regular basis
- Maintaining staff files and documentation
- All aspects of training in-services and employment orientations
- Liaising with Managers to devise an appropriate schedule for training and in-services for staff development
- Gathering and maintaining staff resources
- Developing and facilitating workshops for clients and their support workers
- Completing on-call shifts on rotation
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Post Secondary Education in Human Resources or the Rehabilitation field
- Experience working in the Rehabilitation field
- Experience in staff development and training
- Experience working in human resources
- Knowledge of adult training methods and training resources
- Knowledge of Alberta employment standards
- Supervisory Experience
- Ability to handle stressful situations proactively
- Class 5 Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle

Pay: $50,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
