Border Plumbing, Heating & Electrical is looking to hire an HVAC SERVICE MANAGER to our growing team.
The successful candidate will likely have previous managerial experience. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of technicians, drive sales, coordinate service projects, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, leadership skills, and expertise in HVAC systems.
Experienced Red Seal Refrigeration Mechanics who also hold a Gas Fitter B License should also apply. Service experience and troubleshooting knowledge of Air Conditioners and gas fired appliances is an asset.

To qualify for our team, you should be/have:
- Well groomed and have a neat appearance
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to see the job done right the first time
- Friendly, caring personality - responding to customer concerns, and enjoying making our customers smile
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record - drivers abstract required
- Desire to perform beyond the mandatory job requirements
- Ability to follow proper safety techniques
- A Journeyman Red Seal Refrigeration Mechanic Certificate
- 5+ years experience in the HVAC field
- Gas Fitter B license preferred
You must also be able to lift up to 75 pounds and push, pull, or carry heavy objects. You must be able to maneuver heavier objects with assistance from appropriate devices or additional manpower. You must be able to climb ladders and work in small crawl spaces.
Duties:
- Assist the HVAC Department both in the office and in the field for residential & light commercial customers, assisting dispatch by taking appropriate action
- Maintain trucks and keeping department inventory well stocked
- Maintain other equipment and tools and ensure proper working order of company property
- Handle Customer Concerns and Inquiries both positive and negative
- Help technicians price jobs fairly and profitably

Pay: $78,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
