Job Description
We are hiring a Field Sales Rep to generate new business by visiting companies in person.
This is not an office job.
This is a high-activity, field-based role.
You will be:
- Visiting 15+ businesses per day
- Walking into job sites, industrial parks, and contractor offices
- Introducing our company and opening accounts
- Following up with prospects regularly
What You’ll Be Doing Daily
- 15+ in-person visits (non-negotiable)
- Speaking directly with business owners, site managers, or purchasers
- Generating new accounts
- Logging activity in CRM
- Following up with leads
Who This Role Is For
This role is for someone who:
- Is comfortable being on the road all day
- Doesn’t need supervision to stay productive
- Can handle rejection and keep going
- Has done door-to-door, route sales, or field sales before
This Role Is Not For You If
- You prefer working from home
- You need a high base salary to feel comfortable
- You are not comfortable approaching people in person
- You are looking for a relationship manager role
Ideal Background
Experience in any of the following is a strong plus:
- Construction or industrial supply sales
- Equipment rental
- Uniform sales
- Telecom or door-to-door sales
- Route-based sales roles
Compensation
- Base: $2,000 – $2,500 per month
- 2%–3% commission for first 3 months
- Bonuses of $150–$500 for new accounts opened (based on first order size)
On average you earn $4,000 – $8,000+ per month
Mileage Reimbursement
- $0.50–$0.60 per km
- Applies only to:
- Field visits
- Work-related travel
Mileage reimbursement is tied to field activity and visit targets.
Trial Period
- Initial 60-day performance-based trial
- Continuation based on activity and results
Performance Expectations
Daily:
- 15+ visits
- 10+ real conversations
Monthly:
- 250+ visits
- 40+ meetings
- 3–6 new accounts
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Access to a vehicle
- Based in the GTA
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
Schedule
Autonomous field role. You manage your own schedule, but daily activity targets are non-negotiable.
