Allam Farms Partnership is a successful, family-owned grain farm established in 1949. We proudly farm in Strathcona and Thorhild counties near Edmonton, Alberta.
Our Locations
We operate from two well-equipped farm sites — one near Redwater and one near Fort Saskatchewan. You should be comfortable spending approximately 65% of your time at our north (Redwater) location. Search “Allam Farms Partnership” on Google Maps to view both sites.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and mechanically inclined Class 1 Driver and Machinery Operator with strong hands-on experience operating and maintaining modern farm equipment and highway trucks
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain modern trucks and Super-B grain trailers
- Operate large grain augers, tractors, and other heavy farm machinery
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair automotive, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience with heavy truck and trailer operation, maintenance & repair
- Experience operating and repairing farm and construction equipment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with technology (maintenance logging systems, group chat, etc.)
Strong Assets (for long-term career growth):
Welding, fabrication, bodywork, painting, torching, cutting, advanced hydraulics, and electrical skills.
