Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Technician ensures the safe, accurate and seamless reception and processing of incoming shipments. The Warehouse Technician must load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, e.g., lift truck, forklift, etc. Other responsibilities will include the inspection of incoming shipments to verify contents and quality. The Warehouse Technician must understand the impact of this position on other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of incoming items. Inventory management and vendor relations with shipping companies are essential functions for this position. This position works a rotational 2 weeks in/2 weeks out.

Actively contribute to and consistently maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate collaboratively with all departments to notify when goods are received and ready for pick up.
- Issue goods to various departments through Inventory system.
- Enable three-way matching system by ensuring that shipments and Purchase Orders match.
- Operate a Forklift and/or Electric Pallet Jack in a safe manner to receive and move product.
- Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
- Track shipments and verify receipts of shipments as required.
- Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
- Problem solves for any cases of missing documents, shipments, and deliveries.
- Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

- Working knowledge of safe lifting methods and to be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Ability to cross the border with a valid passport or Nexus card.
Preferred
- Red Seal Parts Certification
- Certified Forklift Operator
- Experience with warehouse setup in a start-up mining operation.
Working Conditions
