Job Summary
Econo Muffler Main St location is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical/electrical knowledge, and experience working with both hand and power tools. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and working with other mechanics. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
The main responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Diagnostics and repairs in the following areas: AC repair, engine mechanics, electrical systems, transmission systems, chassis, brake systems, etc.
- Perform inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations efficiently, safety and accurately.
- Document in detail the cause of concerns and related repair.
- Implement cost-effective and appropriate solutions to all technical problems on behalf of customers.
- Engage with customers to explain services performed, discuss repair needs, and provide updates on the progress of their vehicles.
- Perform road tests as a quality check to verify the work performed.
- Maintain a clean and professional workspace.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Ranges from $24/hour - $40/hour
