Frontier Supply Chain Solutions Inc. (Frontier) is a rapidly growing provider of US and Canadian Customs Services, Trade Consulting, Supply Chain Logistics, including parcel and courier delivery. Our facilities in Regina & Saskatoon coordinate all the courier work in Saskatchewan.
We are seeking a full time Courier Driver- Highway capable of driving our fleet vehicle from the city of Regina and/or the rural areas of Saskatchewan including Chamberlain, Davidson/Girvin. Starting from and returning to our warehouse in Regina, the Driver will service our Clients cargo/package pick-ups and drops offs, including the loading and unloading of freight. Fleet vehicles may include cube vans and 3/5 tons.
Shift Schedule: Hours of work require flexibility with shifts beginning at 8:30AM running till runs are completed at approximately 4:30PM. Hours will be between 40- 45 hours weekly.
The Driver will be responsible for maintaining trip sheets and all freight documents, manifests, BOL’s, and updating hand held devices. Adherence to all health and occupational safety, department of highways, and DOT regulations; as well as ensuring the safety, security, and prompt delivery of the cargo while on route is imperative.
Qualifications:

Must have good knowledge of the roadways in and around Regina.

Must have good knowledge of the towns and roadways in Rural Saskatchewan.

Must be willing to complete morning pick ups followed but afternoon deliveries.

Must have experience driving various sizes of trucks/vans.

Must comply with company drug & alcohol program.

Must have a minimum of 2 years behind the wheel commercial driving experience.

Must be flexible to assist in the warehouse as needed.

Must have a current criminal background check, as well as be bondable if requested.

Must have Steel Toed Shoes, wear company identification card and company branded clothing.

Must be able to read, write, and clearly communicate in English.

Good knowledge of log/trip sheets, inspection reports, freight documents.

Experience using GPS, cell phone, and other company hand held tracking devices.

Professional and experienced in providing good customer service to Clients.

A current clean NSC commercial driver’s abstract (minimum of at least one year) and a valid class 5 license.

Must be able to safely lift up to 50lbs without assistance as well as demonstrate the safe use of hand dollies and/or pallet jacks to lift up to 150lbs with assistance.
