Overview
We are seeking skilled and dependable Concrete Labourers and Finishers to join our construction team. This role involves working on various concrete projects, including pouring, finishing, and restoring concrete surfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, and the use of hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, craftsmanship, and physical strength.
Responsibilities
- Prepare concrete forms and set up reinforcement such as rebar for various projects
- Pour, spread, and level concrete using hand tools and power tools to achieve smooth finishes
- Operate heavy equipment safely for mixing, transporting, and placing concrete
- Finish concrete surfaces with techniques including troweling, caulking, and smoothing to meet project specifications
- Perform restoration work on existing concrete surfaces, including repairs and resurfacing
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of work
Experience
- Proven experience in concrete finishing, rebar installation, or related construction roles
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation in a construction setting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in physically demanding environments
