Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join Pinnacle Weight-Loss, Health, and Nutrition team. The ideal candidate will provide nutritional guidance, personalized meal plans, and support patients in achieving their health and wellness goals. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and compassionate care. The Registered Dietitian will utilize electronic medical records and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive nutritional services. Bilingual skills are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ nutritional needs through detailed evaluations and medical history reviews
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on clinical guidelines and patient preferences
- Monitor and document patient progress using electronic medical records systems
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate nutritional strategies into overall treatment plans
- Support patients in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, or obesity through tailored dietary advice
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
- Assist in community outreach programs or educational seminars related to nutrition and wellness
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
- Experience working with electronic medical records is highly desirable
- Strong computer operation skills for managing documentation and communication tools
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a broader community base
- Prior experience in clinical or community nutrition settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided as needed
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
