Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival at the clinic.
- Schedule appointments, manage the calendar, and handle client inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
- Process payments.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with animal handling, restraint, and care during examinations.
- Provide information to clients regarding pet care, medical procedures, and clinic policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.
- Support kennel operations as needed, including animal husbandry tasks.
- Handle laboratory samples and maintain aseptic techniques when required.
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of veterinary terminology.
- Knowledge of animal anatomy, handling techniques, and pet grooming practices is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
