We are looking for a 309a Licensed Electrician who works well independently as well as part of a team. Someone who is well aware of residential and commercial applications, new housing, and commercial jobs.
Must have a drivers license.
Duties
- Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install and repair electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment to identify issues and ensure safety standards are met.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and power tools used in industrial environments.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete wiring tasks, conduit runs, panel installations, and renovations.
- Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation projects to ensure electrical components are integrated seamlessly into building plans.
- Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes while performing installations or repairs to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid electrician license or certification recognized by local or national authorities.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role involving complex electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques related to electrical work.
- Experience working on renovation projects or in construction environments is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical information accurately.
- Handyman experience or familiarity with general maintenance tasks is a plus.
