Job Summary
As a Dishwasher, you will play a key support role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen. You’ll be responsible for dishwashing, general kitchen cleaning, and assisting with food prep and deliveries as needed. Your attention to detail and teamwork will help us uphold our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain dishwashing stations, including dish machines and sinks
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, glassware, and utensils following proper procedures
- Keep dish area and kitchen floors clean, dry, and free of clutter
- Change machine and sink water regularly and use cleaning chemicals correctly
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries in a timely, organized manner
- Follow posted cleaning duties and complete end-of-shift tasks (e.g., removing trash and recycling)
- Support food preparation and kitchen team as directed by the chef/managers
Qualifications
- Open availability (both part-time and full-time positions available)
- No prior experience required – training provided
- Strong sense of teamwork and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Interest in Japanese cuisine and culture is a plus
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Schedule / Availability
- Lunch shifts: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Dinner shifts: 5:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Shift end times may vary based on business needs.
