Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician/Beauty Therapist to join our beauty salon team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and other beauty treatments, while ensuring a relaxing experience for clients. This role requires a professional with strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a commitment to sanitation and safety standards. The Nail Technician/Beauty Therapist will also have opportunities to upsell products and retail items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art.
- Provide additional beauty treatments including body waxing as needed.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in compliance with health regulations.
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs, offering professional advice, and creating a welcoming environment.
- Upsell retail products and promote additional services to clients to enhance their experience.
- Assist clients with product selection and provide information on nail care and skincare tips.
- Ensure proper documentation of services provided and maintain accurate client records.
- Keep the work area organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or Beauty Therapist with relevant certifications/licenses.
- Proficiency in nail care techniques including manicures, pedicures, gel applications, acrylics, and nail art.
- Knowledge of body waxing procedures is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients.
- Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols in all treatments performed.
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations.
