Job Summary
The Cabinet Assembler / Installer will be responsible for assembling custom cabinetry in our shop and installing finished products at customer locations. The ideal candidate has experience working with cabinetry, woodworking tools, and residential or commercial installations, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Assemble custom cabinets, drawers, doors, and cabinet components according to drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret cabinet plans, shop drawings, and installation layouts
- Operate woodworking tools and equipment safely
- Install kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, closets, and custom millwork at job sites
- Ensure accurate measurements, leveling, alignment, and finishing details
- Adjust doors, drawers, hardware, and cabinet components as needed
- Perform quality checks before and after installation
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Communicate professionally with team members, contractors, and customers
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in cabinet assembly, woodworking, or cabinet installation preferred
- Ability to read drawings and measurements
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites
- Physically able to lift and handle cabinet components
- Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to quality work
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with custom cabinetry installation
- Experience with kitchen and bathroom renovations
- Knowledge of cabinet hardware and installation techniques
- Experience working in a cabinet shop environment
