Campechano is looking for an experienced chef to join our team!
We are are a group of two Mexican restaurants located in downtown Toronto. We have a close knit team and are looking an individual who likes to work in a fast paced environment, work as a team and have fun doing so.
We have a strong team and looking to add folks that will enjoy and thrive in our culture - casual environment, non hierarchical, no ego, obsessed with consistent food quality.
We are a food focused restaurant and make everything on our menu from scratch. We work with Ontario farms and source whole animals, and as such have a robust butchery program. We also make all our tortillas - we source heirloom corn from Mexico, cook it each night and mill it each morning to make masa for our tortillas. We really focus on food quality and creating exceptional tacos.
We pay well and have opportunity for salaried roles. Cook roles starting between $22 - 24/hour + great tips.
Hiring for 1 full time role. Role is across locations (our team FOH and BOH work across both). Flexible on start dates for the right candidate.
