The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. Now, if you were to come on board as our Programs Manager, Systems and AI we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Provide leadership and act as the primary escalation point for all matters related to safety systems, safety partners, and company safety data.
- Coach, mentor, and support a Data Specialist, promoting best practices in system implementation, data integrity, and alignment with strategic safety objectives.
- Lead safety analytics and reporting using platforms such as Steritech, Origami, 24/7, and SharePoint to support informed, data-driven decision-making.
- Foster a culture of innovation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies, tools, and best practices that enhance the effectiveness of safety systems and data integration. Encourage creative problem-solving and continuous improvement, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of safety and compliance advancements
- Utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enhance data analysis, automate routine processes, and identify patterns or trends that can inform safety strategies. Stay up to date on emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions to further improve safety systems and operational efficiency.
- Develop, automate, and maintain reporting solutions that enhance visibility, accuracy, and efficiency of safety data.
- Integrate data insights into safety protocols, risk mitigation strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and manage projects focused on the continuous improvement, innovation and AI of Compass Group Canada’s safety programs, collaborating with leadership to develop and implement action plans and initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and updates to operational and senior leadership on safety performance, system enhancements, AI and innovation and departmental objectives.

- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within a data, AI and Innovation background
- Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience working with enterprise systems and data platforms, including Power BI, Snowflake, SharePoint, Steritech, Origami, and Microsoft applications.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, manage complex projects, and collaborate across cross-functional teams and leadership levels.
- French language proficiency is considered
