We are looking for an experienced Behaviour Interventionist to work at least 2 times a week (M-F) in a home-based ABA program, managed by a BCBA from Constructive Pathways. The times we are looking for someone to work are: Monday to Fridays after 3:30pm. Our son is a very active and sweet 5year old boy with autism spectrum disorder. The duties of a Behavior Interventionist are listed below:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Implement behavior intervention plans and provide direct support to individuals with behavioral challenges
- Collect data on target behaviors and analyze data to monitor progress and make adjustments to intervention strategies
- Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans
- Provide training and support to staff, caregivers, and family members on behavior management techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all interventions and progress notes
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Undergo a criminal record check.
- Agree to a 1-year minimum commitment.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a reliable form of transportation.
- Have reliable attendance to all scheduled sessions.
- Have patience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
- Able to provide at least 2 references.
