Position: General Labourer
Location: Ottawa, ON
Pay Rate: $18.00–$19.50/hour (based on experience)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (weekend availability may be required)
One of our clients is seeking reliable General Labourers to support a short-term outdoor yard project in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidates will assist with emptying shipping containers filled with boxes of products and materials and safely moving, organizing, and stacking items throughout the yard.
Responsibilities:
· Empty shipping containers by unloading boxes of products and materials
· Move, organize, and stack materials safely within the yard
· Load and unload materials as required
· Assist with general yard cleanup and organization
· Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
· Maintain a safe and organized work area
Requirements:
· Previous general labour, warehouse, construction, or outdoor yard experience preferred
· Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials
· Comfortable working outdoors in hot weather conditions
· Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
· Ability to follow instructions and work well independently
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends if required
