We are a busy, well-equipped independent automotive repair shop committed to providing honest, high-quality service. We're looking for a motivated Licensed Automotive Technician (310S) to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced in diagnostics, takes pride in their workmanship, experiences in European vehicles (Mercedes, BMW, Audi, etc), and works well in a collaborative shop environment alongside another licensed technician and an apprentice.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of makes and models.
- Diagnose drivability, electrical, engine, suspension, brake, steering, and HVAC concerns.
- Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic equipment to efficiently identify and repair faults.
- Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
- Communicate findings clearly with the service advisor and recommend necessary repairs.
- Work collaboratively with another licensed technician and assist in mentoring an apprentice when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Ensure work is completed efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician Licence.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Own set of professional tools.
