ROLE: Project Coordinator - Farms
We are seeking a Project Coordinator with a keen interest in construction to assist our Project Manager with planning, coordination, and execution of farm construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role will suit individuals who like a balance of office work, as well as being active on site with our various project divisions.

Reports to: Regional Manager, Poultry Operations
Work Mode: Onsite

Hiring Range: $60,000-$70,000
Shift/Time: Monday to Friday
Term: Permanent-Full Time
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Some of the project skills you will learn include:
- Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for timely delivery of materials and services.
- Assist with applying and maintaining permits, drawings, and construction documentation.
- Ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Support cost estimation and monitor expenses against budget.
- Prepare purchase orders and track invoices.
- Oversee day-to-day site activities under the guidance of the Project Manager.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
- Facilitate clear communication between project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare and distribute progress reports
- Identify potential risks and assist in implementing mitigation strategies.
- Help resolve on-site issues promptly.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Projects may involve poultry barns and agricultural facilities.
- Travel to multiple sites may be required.
- Must adhere to biosecurity and safety protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Previous work experience (can include part time or summer employment during high school and post secondary)
- Previous experience on a farm or construction an asset
- Organizational and time-management abilities.
- Understanding of construction processes, drawings, and terminology
- Microsoft products literacy
- Great communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting/modelling software
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work in varied site conditions (noise, dust, temperature changes).
- Physical capability for occasional lifting and site work
