Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Carpenter Helper. The ideal candidate will assist skilled carpenters in various tasks related to Shed and Fence construction and installation. This role is essential for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards of quality. The Carpenter Helper will be involved in a variety of tasks including framing, roofing, painting, siding installation, and more.
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters in framing, roofing, painting, siding installation
- Help with the assembly of sheds and fences
- Participate in heavy lifting and moving materials to various job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Follow instructions from lead carpenters and contribute to project timelines.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Qualifications
- Previous experience or knowledge in carpentry or construction is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with framing, roofing, siding and concrete forming is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for various tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques in carpentry.
