Join the Team at Corpell's Water & ICE
We're looking for an energetic, dependable, and customer-focused individual to join our growing team. As our Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first impression many customers have of Corpell's. You'll help customers in our storefront, coordinate orders and deliveries, support our office operations, and play an important role in delivering the exceptional service our customers have come to expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers visiting our storefront.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Process customer orders, invoices, payments, and account adjustments accurately.
- Coordinate dispatching and manage daily delivery schedules.
- Communicate with drivers regarding deliveries, route changes, customer requests, and scheduling.
- Follow up with incoming sales inquiries by phone and email.
- Accept cash, debit, credit card, and account payments while maintaining an accurate cash till.
- Open and close the storefront, including balancing the cash till at the end of each shift.
- Prepare cooler exchanges and pick customer orders.
- Assist customers with product selection and recommend additional products and services when appropriate.
- Respond to customer concerns professionally and ensure they are fully resolved.
- Maintain organized filing, accurate records, and data entry using internal computer systems and Microsoft Office.
- Assist with general administrative duties and support other departments as required.
- Pitch in wherever needed to help our team succeed.
Customer Service Expectations
At Corpell's, we believe great customer service doesn't stop at the counter. Our team proudly helps customers carry their water purchases to their vehicles, so applicants should be comfortable lifting and carrying water products as part of delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Skills & Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys helping people and genuinely cares about customer service.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is organized, dependable, and pays attention to detail.
- Can prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Is comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and learning new software.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and can work independently.
- Has basic math skills and is comfortable handling cash and balancing a till.
- Takes initiative and works well as part of a team.
- Previous customer service, administrative, retail, or dispatch experience is an asset, but we're willing to train the right person.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
- Comfortable assisting customers by carrying 5-gallon water bottles and other products to their vehicles.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in both an office and retail environment.
