Driver/Merchandiser
Location: Prince Albert, SK
Position Status: Full Time, Permanent
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the Management team of PBD, the Driver/Merchandiser is primarily responsible for the delivery of pre-ordered product to assigned accounts, stocking, merchandising and rotating product. Overnight travel and overtime are required.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check accuracy and stability of the load;
- Deliver products to customer; stocking shelves;
- Manage product in customer premises, rotating inventory by date code in order to limit returns of outdated stock;
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards;
- Responsible for meeting productivity requirements;
- Maintaining and cleaning assigned delivery vehicle to ensure it properly represents PBD in the trade;
- Other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Class 3 driver's license with air endorsement and a clean driver's abstract
- 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Local delivery experience preferred
· Must be able to repetitively lift up to 60lbs
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be customer service orientated
- The ability to work with minimal supervision
