As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing menu items, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and working collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and standards.
- Assist in menu preparation by providing input and ideas for daily specials.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and safety practices are followed at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and assist in overall kitchen cleanliness.
- Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency in every dish served.
- Assist with inventory control by properly storing and rotating stock.
- Work closely with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and smooth service.
Skills
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and basic culinary techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
