Position Overview:
We are seeking a responsible, flexible, and safety-focused Bus Driver to transport our hockey teams to various locations throughout the year. Including team practices, games, road trips, and other team events starting as early as June 29th. The ideal candidate takes pride in ensuring safe, timely travel while creating a positive and professional environment for students and staff.
Qualifications:
-Valid driver's license (C class) or minimum equivalent
-Clean driving record and strong knowledge of road safety regulations
-Previous experience driving buses or transporting groups (School or Sports Team preferred)
-Ability to pass Vulnerable Sectors Check, other background checks and medical examinations as required
-Strong reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to travel to the USA (Not mandatory)
Preferred Attributes:
-Experience working with youth or in a school/athletic environment
-Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
-Calm demeanour and ability to manage high-energy student-athletes
-Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an asset
