Job Summary
Looking for a strong restaurant manager to join one of the largest and fastest growing poke brands in North America.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes
- Manage and train staff, including interviewing and onboarding new team members
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Utilize POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure high levels of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
- Implement policies to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability
- Lead team management efforts by motivating staff, scheduling shifts, and fostering a positive work environment
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management, food industry, or hospitality roles
- Strong leadership and team management skills with supervising experience
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Proficiency with POS, cash handling experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling, and restaurant experience
- Strong communication skills and leadership qualities to motivate team members
- Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required
