The Restaurant at Redstone opened in June of 2015. The 80-seat restaurant, private dining room and spacious outdoor patio space showcases the seasonally and locally inspired cuisine of Chef Kristina Pierce. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
· Ensure all drinks are made as per the standards set out by the Restaurant Manager and Executive Chef.
· Maintain a strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, including pairings and ingredients.
· Ensures all beverages are received by the guest in a timely fashion
· Educates consumers on all products and effectively upsells with the goal of driving average spend.
· Maintains excellent wine and menu knowledge through ongoing study and review
· Assist with inventory management, restocking, and reporting low-stock items to management.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar, including glassware, garnishes, and liquor supplies at all points throughout a shift.
· Successfully completes all required opening and closing duties as outlined by the manager.
Position Requirements
- Smart Serve Certification required
- 2+ years of experience in a comparable property an asset
· Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak times for the restaurant.
· Strong knowledge of Wine, classic cocktails, and beverage trends
· Attention to detail in drink preparation, presentation, and accuracy.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills with an engaging personality.
· Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and maintain composure in a busy fast-paced environment.
· Extremely guest-oriented with a genuine ‘always say yes’ attitude
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift cases of beer, liquor, and kegs (up to 30 lbs) as needed.
