Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Helper to join our Powersports team, specializing in ATVs, SXS, and Snowmobiles. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in mechanical work, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work safely with various tools and equipment.
Duties
- Assist technicians with disassembly, assembly, and repair of Powersports vehicles such as ATVs, SXS, and snowmobiles
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic maintenance tasks
- Organize and maintain the shop area, ensuring tools and parts are properly stored
- Support in cleaning and inspecting parts and vehicles during repair processes
- Help move parts, equipment, and vehicles around the shop as needed
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in vehicle repair and maintenance
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to work safely around shop equipment and adhere to safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift heavy parts or tools when necessary
- Prior experience in automotive or powersports repair is a plus but not mandatory
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
