McBride Daycare Society is seeking a caring, creative, and dedicated Early Childhood Educator IT and ECE to join our Little Munchkins team. This full-time role begins in September 2026, offering the chance to step into a supportive, community-rooted environment where your work truly matters.
Your Role in Our Program
As an ECE at Little Munchkins, you help shape a warm, inclusive, and engaging space where children feel safe, curious, and confident. You’ll collaborate with a small, friendly team that values professionalism, playfulness, and genuine connection.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities that support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
- Build trusting, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment through active supervision and adherence to licensing standards.
- Support daily routines including meals, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions.
- Document observations, learning stories, and incidents with clarity and professionalism.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture where creativity and new ideas are welcomed.
