We're a growing Carrier/ third-party logistics (3PL) provider specializing in reliable transportation solutions across North America. We work closely with shippers and carriers to deliver exceptional service, competitive pricing, and dependable capacity. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated Carrier Sales Representative to help strengthen and grow our carrier network.
Position Overview
The Carrier Sales Representative plays a key role in securing capacity, developing carrier relationships, and ensuring customer freight is covered efficiently and profitably. This role is ideal for someone with freight brokerage, carrier sales, dispatch, or transportation operations experience who enjoys negotiating, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Source and secure qualified carriers to cover customer freight
- Post and manage available freight on Loadlink, DAT, and Truckstop
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with carriers and transportation partners
- Negotiate competitive rates while balancing service and profitability
- Monitor shipments and proactively resolve transportation issues when they arise
- Verify carrier qualifications, insurance, safety ratings, and compliance requirements
- Provide accurate and timely freight quotes to customers
- Develop new carrier relationships to strengthen network coverage and capacity
- Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to ensure successful load execution
- Maintain accurate carrier and load information within company systems
Qualifications
- Previous experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, logistics, dispatch, or transportation operations
- Strong understanding of freight markets, carrier procurement, and load boards
- Experience using Loadlink, DAT, Truckstop, or similar transportation platforms
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Experience with Canada–U.S. cross-border freight is considered an asset
- Existing carrier relationships are a strong plus
