Our salary range for this role is $87,000 - $117,000, reflecting the anticipated base salary for a fully qualified candidate at the time of posting. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, internal equity, and market conditions.

The HSE Manager is responsible for fostering a Zero & Beyond safety culture by leading the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) initiatives in collaboration with facility management. The primary goal is to ensure regulatory compliance while supporting the company’s strategic objectives.
In this role, the HSE Manager works closely with the Director of Health, Safety, and Environment, developing corporate safety and health programs and objectives including coordinating safety training programs, developing risk reduction plans to reduce workplace injuries, driving a behavior-based safety culture, and providing technical support to ensure compliance with all regulations. Success depends on strong collaboration with corporate functions, facility management, and external organizations.
HSE Compliance & Risk Management:
Participate in new product / process reviews including process hazard analyses, operator training, job safety analysis, etc.
ISO Certifications & Safety Leadership:
Oversee and lead the joint health and safety committee on-site, ensuring adherence to company safety procedures through coaching, training, and follow-ups.
Manage incident reporting processes, ensure thorough investigations, corrective actions, and best practice sharing across the company.
Audits, Training & Team Engagement:

Knowledge and skill requirements:
Strong knowledge of OHSA, NFPA, NIOSH, CSA, CEC, and CEPA regulations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Occupational safety, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or a related field preferred).
