Job Summary
The CAD Drafter is responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and design documentation that support engineering and manufacturing requirements. This role applies sound design principles and attention to detail to translate project specifications into precise, production‑ready drawings and layouts.

Duties
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to develop detailed design drawings and models.
- Utilize CAD software to create 2D and 3D representations of concepts and plans.
- Product accurate and comprehensive technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for construction or manufacturing purposes.
- Ensure drawings adhere to relevant standards, codes, and specifications.
- Create and modify design documentation based in project requirements and feedback.
- Provide detailed annotations, dimensions, and specifications on drawings for clarity.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and design constraints.
- Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine designs.
- Conduct through reviews of own work to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project guidelines.
- Assist in identifying and resolving design issues and discrepancies.
- Create and update design records and reports as necessary.
- Support and mentor junior CAD designers as required.
Skills
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer with a proficiency in industry standard CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Strong understanding of engineering and design principles.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
- Experience with 3D modelling and rendering.
- Familiarity with product lifestyle management (PLM) systems.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to propose and implement design improvements.
- Minimum of 3 years experience of Sheet metal and structure engineering.

Experience:
- sheet metal and structure engineering: 3 years (preferred)
