Job Summary
Skyland Realty is seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Real Estate Assistant to support our REALTORS® and assist with the day-to-day operations of the brokerage.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the real estate industry, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to gain hands-on experience while building a long-term career in real estate. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting our agents, coordinating transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily brokerage activities.
Licensing Requirement: Applicants must possess a valid Ontario Real Estate Salesperson or Broker Licence. A current Ontario real estate licence is required for this position.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience working with MLS systems, CRM platforms, or other real estate software is an asset. Basic technical troubleshooting skills are preferred.
Key Qualifications: Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to effectively manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the professionalism required to interact with clients, agents, and industry partners.
Driver's License & Availability: A valid Driver's License is required. Candidates must be available to support weekend open houses and occasional brokerage-related events.
Compensation
- Competitive transaction-based commission compensation (paid per completed deal)
- Earnings are based on the number of transactions successfully assisted and completed
- Opportunity to increase income by supporting a higher volume of transactions
