We are seeking a proactive, service-driven leader to join our front office team as Night Manager. Responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of the property’s overnight operations, this role ensures smooth, efficient nightly workflows while maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction and operational excellence. The Night Manager oversees night operations across the Front Office, manages emergency and safety protocols, conducts financial night audits, and completes critical daily reports to support accounting and room operations. This is a hands-on leadership role that fosters a positive, high-performing team culture during the overnight hours.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the overnight team, overseeing Front Desk operations, guest relations, and property security to maintain a safe and seamless environment.
- Ensure the smooth and complete execution of the nightly audit process.
- Deliver exceptional, anticipatory service to guests arriving or departing overnight.
- Safely valet guest vehicles and assist with guest luggage, transport, or inquiries as needed.
- Act as the lead for emergency protocols, guest concerns, and building or security issues.
- Complete detailed daily and monthly operational reports.
- Monitor night shift workflows and ensure critical handovers are prepared for the morning management team.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by hotel management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior leadership experience is required
- Previous hotel front office experience is highly valued.
- A post-secondary degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred;
- Solid experience working with numbers, cash handling, financial reconciliations, and operating property management systems (PMS).
- This is a dedicated overnight position. Must be fully available to work regular overnight shifts (approximately 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM), including weekends and holidays.
- Must possess a valid, clean driver's license and the ability to confidently drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles to provide guest valet services.
- Must be physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods, moving guest luggage, and lifting or moving operational items (up to 50 lbs) as required.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, sound judgment, and a professional appearance suited for a premium hotel environment. Must be a self-starter comfortable working independently or with a small nightly team.
