About the Opportunity
A high-volume industrial equipment manufacturer is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join the operations team at its production facility located just south of Winnipeg.
Skip the highway driving and daily wear-and-tear on your personal vehicle! We offer a convenient daily shuttle service running directly from Winnipeg to the facility, with the low fee handled seamlessly via automatic payroll deduction.
Shuttle Pick-Up Locations:
- Downtown Winnipeg: Smith St & Broadway
- South Winnipeg: St. Norbert Farmers’ Market
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport, stage, and store raw materials and components across indoor manufacturing spaces and outdoor storage yards.
- Operate indoor and outdoor forklifts to safely maneuver long, heavy, and oversized materials (up to 30 feet in length).
- Assist with general labor, yard organization, and material handling support across various departments.
- Safely operate manual and powered pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate material movements while adhering strictly to site safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (Required).
- Proven experience and logged hours operating both indoor and outdoor forklifts.
- Comfort and confidence handling long, heavy materials (up to 30 ft).
- Physical capability to assist with manual material handling and lifting as needed.
- Strong reliability, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset.
