Shop Helper & Operations Support
Superior Concrete Finishing is looking for a dependable, organized, and self-motivated person to join our team in filling and diverse support role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to help keep our business running smoothly.
No two days are the same. One day you may be organizing the shop, the next maintaining company properties, loading equipment, running errands, or helping prepare materials for our crews. We're looking for someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and ready for whatever comes next.
This is a physically active position that requires a high level of initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop.
- Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials.
- Perform lawn and exterior property maintenance at multiple company properties.
- Run errands.
- Support the day-to-day needs of both the office staff and construction crews.
- Organize inventory, tools, and storage areas.
- Assist with equipment preparation, cleaning, and general shop support.
- Help with a wide variety of operational tasks as business needs change.
- Identify opportunities to improve organization and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable operating or willing to learn trailers, forklifts, and skid steers.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Bondable.
- Able to safely lift and move equipment and materials.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying or harsh weather conditions.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to tackle a variety of tasks.
- Must genuinely enjoy animals and be excited to work in a pet-friendly environment. Our office is shared with Poe, a friendly Cane Corso, so being comfortable around large dogs is an essential part of the role.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
