Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Used Car Sales Representative for our pre-owned vehicle department. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in dealership or retail sales. This role involves managing the sales pipeline, developing customer relationships, and working with the sales team to maximize profitability. The Used Car Sales Representative will play a key role in driving sales, upselling opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Duties
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting and B2B sales strategies
- Negotiate deals effectively with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
- Support the sales team with marketing initiatives and customer engagement strategies
- Conduct outside sales activities to attract new customers and expand dealership reach
- Oversee inventory management to ensure a diverse and appealing selection of used vehicles
- Maintain high standards of customer service, phone etiquette, and communication skills during all interactions
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales tactics accordingly
- Provide ongoing training on product knowledge, negotiation skills, and organizational skills
Requirements
- Proven experience in dealership or retail sales, particularly in used car markets
- Strong background in outside sales and B2B sales
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on closing deals effectively
- Demonstrated success in managing a sales pipeline and upselling techniques
- Exceptional communication skills both over the phone and in person
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Experience with marketing strategies related to automotive or retail sectors
- Knowledge of dealership operations, inventory management, and customer service standards
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- OMVIC certification is an asset
Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
