Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Associate to join our team. This role involves supporting food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support kitchen with food handling, plating, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are met
- Help with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supplies needed
- Assist in serving customers when required, ensuring prompt and courteous service
- Support the team during busy periods to ensure timely delivery of meals
Requirements
- Previous experience in cooking, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed
- Basic understanding of meal preparation and kitchen operations is advantageous
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment
- Able to start working from 5am.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
