As a Physiotherapist, you’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team whose goal is to enhance the rehabilitation experience to achieve positive outcomes for our clients. We are seeking individuals who are interested in delivering leading edge clinical services and building positive and lasting relationships with our clients.
In this role you will:
Provide one-on-one assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological injuries and conditions in athletes and general population
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client goals
- Utilize a variety of manual therapies, exercise prescription, and modalities to aid in recovery and performance enhancement
- Conduct movement assessments and biomechanical analyses to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Stay abreast of current research, trends, and advancements in the fields of sports medicine and performance rehabilitation
- Participate in ongoing professional development activies to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
You will also have opportunities to:
- Provide strategies for injury prevention and education to athletes, teams, and coaches
- Collaborate closely with team members and our partnering sport coaches/strength and conditioning specialists to ensure a comprehensive integrated approach to training and care
- Participate in clinical training, team building, and mentorship
- Network with athletes and teams in the community, and other health care professionals in the Edmonton area
Your experience and skills:
- A Bachelor’s or Masters’ Degree in Physical Therapy and eligible for registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
- 2+ years experience preferred
- IMS/Dry Needling certification is an asset, but not required
- Computer experience and strong interpersonal skills, complemented by well-developed written and verbal communication abilities
- Reliability and time management skills are integral to your success in this position
- The ability to work 5hr (minimum) shifts during our clinic hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, is required
We offer a competitive salary for pay per service with an earning potential of $90000-$100000+ for full time staff, caseload management mentorship, a health spending account, support in finding subsidy for continuing education, and flexible work schedules that foster a healthy work-life balance.
