We are looking for a Residential Construction Sales Representative to help us grow our residential business.
Position Overview
This is a commission-only residential sales role with a flexible schedule. You will be responsible for generating your own leads, meeting homeowners, scoping projects, working with the owner to price jobs, and closing profitable contracts. There is no base salary, but commissions are uncapped and directly tied to the work you sell. Your schedule is flexible as long as you consistently generate leads, run appointments, and close work.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new residential leads (door-knocking, referrals, networking, social media, etc.) across Toronto and the GTA.
Book and run in-home consultations with homeowners, including some evenings and weekends when needed.
Understand homeowner needs, help define project scope, and present clear, professional solutions.
Collaborate with the owner to prepare accurate quotes and proposals.
Follow up on all quotes until there is a clear yes/no.
Maintain a simple pipeline/CRM or spreadsheet to track leads, quotes, and jobs sold.
Represent Heracon Homes Inc. professionally on-site and in the community.
Ideal Candidate
Experience in residential construction, home improvement, or in-home sales (roofing, windows, siding, kitchens, renos, etc.) is a strong asset.
Comfortable with 100% commission and motivated by performance-based income.
Confident speaking with homeowners and building trust at the kitchen table.
Self-starter who can plan and execute their own prospecting activity without constant supervision.
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
Based in Toronto / GTA.
Compensation
Commission-only structure.
Approx. 5% of collected contract value on residential projects.
Typical project size: 20,000–150,000 per job.
Commissions paid as customer payments are received (deposit, progress draws, final payment).
No cap on earnings – the more profitable work you sell, the more you earn.
Example earnings
If you consistently close 2 projects per month at an average of 60,000, your annual revenue sold would be roughly 1.44M, resulting in about 72,000 in commission at a 5% rate.
Schedule
Flexible schedule – you manage your time.
Expectation that you are actively prospecting, booking appointments, and running evening/weekend visits when needed for homeowners’ availability.
