Highway 43 Towing is hiring a tow truck operator based out of Mayerthorpe. This is a full-time, year-round position with a mix of towing, recoveries, roadside assistance, and equipment hauling. No two days are exactly the same, and you'll be working alongside a small team that handles everything from roadside assistance to heavy recoveries.
We are willing to consider applicants with a Class 5, Class 3 (Q endorsement), or Class 1 licence. Commercial driving experience is considered an asset, particularly for applicants applying with a Class 5 licence.
What you'll be doing:
- Light, medium, and heavy-duty towing
- Boosts, lockouts, tire changes, and fuel deliveries
- Recoveries and winch-outs
- Equipment hauling
- General shop and yard duties as required
Schedule:
- On-call rotation
- Scheduled days off
- Full-time, year-round work
Pay:
- Commission-based
- Commission rate based on experience and licensing, with hourly pay for non-commissionable work
- Non-commissionable work may include vehicle relocations, parts runs, non-retail driving, and other related duties
We're looking for someone reliable, able to work independently, and willing to learn.
Preference will be given to applicants living in Mayerthorpe or the surrounding area.
