This position is a sales oriented job based on business to business sales. Requirements will include phoning and traveling to restaurants and other businesses and homes in the lower mainland, quoting services provided based on specs given by management, and maintaining professional relationships with other businesses and customers.
This job is relatively freelance, as all phone call oriented work can be done at any time and location so long as business objectives are met and customer needs are accommodated (must call restaurants within their working hours and other locations within reasonable hours). However, once calls are secured, in person work will be required to visit the locations for quoting based on customer availability.
English is a mandatory requirement for this position, as is transportation from anywhere between North Vancouver and Chilliwack as jobs are acquired. Connections within the restaurant world as well as an understanding of basic restaurant operations are an asset. Training will be provided so long as other requirements are met. This job is intended for those seeking supplemental income, and will not likely provide the hours required to be a sole income.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
