We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as Director of Operations and Business Development – North America and play a key role in driving the company’s continued growth and long-term success.
This position is intended to evolve into a broader executive leadership role with increasing responsibility for corporate strategy, organizational growth, and business development throughout North America. Based on individual performance and company growth, the successful candidate may have the opportunity to advance to the position of General Manager – North America, as well as participate in long-term incentive programs.
Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the executive leadership team to translate strategic objectives into actionable business initiatives, ensuring alignment across operations, finance, engineering, and business development
· Develop and lead the company's business strategy, driving sustainable growth through market expansion, client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and long-term commercial planning throughout the North American market.
· Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while expanding the company's presence throughout the North American market.
· Lead and participate the proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions.
· Represent the company at industry conferences, client meetings, technical seminars, and other business development activities.
· Direct the day-to-day operations of the North American business, ensuring engineering projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
· Provide leadership and support for the company's overall business development and operational activities as required.
· Develop and implement corporate policies, performance management systems, and business processes that enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement
· Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, regulatory, and company standards across all business activities.
· Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by executive management.
· Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
· Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
· Proven experience in a Manager, Director, or Executive leadership role within the oil and gas industry, ideally with a compressor packager or compressor end user. Candidates with substantial experience in business development, sales, engineering, or operations within compressor packager or compressor end-user organizations are also encouraged to apply.
· An established network within the North American energy industry is highly desirable.
· Working knowledge of vibration and stress analysis for compressors, pumps, piping systems, pipelines, and structures is considered an asset.
· Familiarity with field vibration measurements, troubleshooting, and on-site engineering services is an asset.
· Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, commercial, and decision-making skills, with a demonstrated track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.
