Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Executive chef, overseeing kitchen operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes. Responsibilities
- Assist the head chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow
- Supervise and coordinate food preparation and cooking activities among kitchen staff
- Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed according to health regulations
- Oversee food presentation, quality control, and timely service of dishes
- Support team management by mentoring junior staff and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times
- Serve as a leader during shifts, stepping in to handle any operational issues that arise
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities
- Solid restaurant management knowledge with an understanding of hospitality standards
- Experience with food safety protocols and compliance with health regulations
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
