Job Summary:
Join Groupe Dynamite’s Digital & E-Commerce Leadership team as the Director of User Experience. In this pivotal role, you will be the visionary architect of our digital customer experience, leading a talented team of UX and UI designers to redefine the future of fashion retail. You will sit at the intersection of brand storytelling and high-conversion commerce, ensuring that GARAGEand DYNAMITE remain at the forefront of digital innovation. We don't just build interfaces; we create emotional connections through seamless, captivating, and intuitive journeys.
As Director, you will lead the UX Strategy and be responsible for the "how" and the "why" behind our digital ecosystem, fostering a culture of design excellence, empathy for our users, and rigorous UI craft.
Key Responsibilities:

Define a long-term user experience and user interface vision that aligns with Groupe Dynamite’s business goals, ensuring a premium, cohesive experience across Web, App, and in-store digital touchpoints;

Recruit, lead, and scale a high-performing team of UX/UI designers. Foster a culture of continuous learning, curiosity and obsessive attention to detail;

Oversee the evolution of our Design System to ensure visual consistency, accessibility (WCAG), and engineering efficiency across all platforms;

Champion user research, journey mapping, and usability testing to transform complex retail challenges into elegant, conversion-focused solutions;

Lead a cohesive user experience across all touchpoints, upholding a meticulous standard of craft and visual excellence in every interaction;

Optimize design workflows, tooling, and cross-functional handoffs to increase team velocity without compromising quality;

Act as a strategic partner to VP-level stakeholders in Product, Digital Development, and Marketing to influence the product roadmap through a user-centric lens;

Translate quantitative data (A/B testing, heatmaps) and qualitative insights into actionable design pivots that drive measurable ROI.
Qualifications:

10+ years of professional experience in digital product design, with at least 4+ years in a senior leadership role managing multi-disciplinary teams;

A distinguished portfolio demonstrating a mastery of high-end UI/Visual design and sophisticated UX problem-solving (specifically in E-commerce or high-growth B2C);

Proven ability to link design decisions to business KPIs (e.g., Average Order Value, Conversion Rate, Retention);

Mastery of Figma and an understanding of how to leverage AI-driven design tools to accelerate the creative process;

An exceptional storyteller who can articulate the "Value of Design" to non-design stakeholders and executive leadership;

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
