We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing representative to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of the trucking industry.
Job responsibilities:
· Prepares, reviews and process customer billing for transportation services
· Verifies supporting documents and coordinates with operations and finance to ensure accuracy
· Process and audit carrier payables, ensuring owner-operators and contracted carriers are paid accurately based on Rate Confirmations and signed carrier agreements.
· Updates internal systems
· Produces periodic reports
· Communicate with internal teams and customers
· Manages invoicing with high attention to detail
Qualifications:
· 5-10 years AP experience is an asset
· Strong understanding of trucking operations, equipment and related logistics processes.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
· Strong customer service orientation with the ability to resolve issues professionally.
· Prior experience in billing or accounts within the transportation or logistics industry is highly preferred.
· Proficiency with spreadsheets, billing software, and basic accounting principles.
· Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
